TESTIMONIALS

"I need to say that I am so happy that I got in Touch with Maestro Agustin Rosso. He is, in my eyes, one of the finest instruments makers I know, if not THE best. I fall immediately in love with the instrument he has created for me, it's absolutely convincing in my ears that his unbelievable Talent makes him with no doubt as one of the best addresses in the world if you are in search for a highest level of warm and sonore Cello sound, made for a reasonable Price as well. I would consider him again and again if I was looking for a new instrument. Thanks, Maestro Agustin!"

"I’ve known Agustin Rosso for many years and I have seen his incredible progress in the art of Violin Making. His contact with professional musicians, masters such as Horario Piñeiro; and his natural talent have helped to make him a solid craftsman. At the moment, he is at the top of South America in the making of instruments of the violin family. My enthusiasm has made me request his work and I currently have five of his instruments: two Guarneri del Gesù violins, an Andrea Guarnieri viola, a special model viola by A. Rosso, and a Montagnana violoncello. Each and every one of this instruments show care and dedication in the making, a healthy resonance and range, as well as a fantastic quality in sound. I recommend Agustin Rosso’s instruments to those experts that are looking for a fine custom instrument at a reasonable price."

"For the past three years, I’ve been playing the viola Mr Agustin Rosso has made for me. I think this superb instrument is really extraordinary in appearance and in sound quality. In my opinion, Mr Rosso shows a promising future as a luthier. Moreover, he is such a nice person that I can only  warmly recommend him".

"Excellent viola, resonant and beautiful sound. I recommend Agustin’s instruments, I have tried more than 7 or 8 violas and I have enjoyed all of them. The weight of the instrument is perfect for those days in which we have three rehearsals, you can play for a long time without getting tired...".

"I play a Guarnieri violin made by Agustin Rosso. It has a beautifully flamed one-piece back. However, the most important aspect of this instrument for me; is its excellent sound quality. It’s full and incredibly warm, well-balanced in every string and velvety soft. I have rarely played an instrument that has a sound so full of life. In my experience in new instruments, I still haven't been able to find something that is remotely similar to it.
I play this violin as main instrument, and I actually prefer it to any other violin. It’s a pleasure to play it, whether solo, chamber or orchestral playing. It provides a unique sound that allows me to find my own sound in the violin. This especial sound motivates me each day to hear it and feel it again and again. I love this instrument and I would never change it."
